NASA U.F.Os STS-75 The Tether Incident
On Sunday, February 25, 1996, the Space Shuttle Columbia deployed an experimental tether into orbit. The experiment was called the Tethered Satellite System (TSS- 1R) and it's purpose of this was to attempt to generate electricity by utilizing Earth's magnetic field.
Unfortunately during this experiment they had a problem and the 12 mile long tether snapped due to the synthetic material accumulating a critical charge. The tether broke so the experiment was not a success, although approximately five hours of data were recorded.
What really made "The Tether Incident" famous was the appearance of many unidentified flying objects (UFOs) clearly visible in the NASA footage. NASA claims the objects in the footage are space debris and ice particles very close...
Now, my understanding of the whole "Tether Incident" is the fact that the tether was 70 miles away from the shuttle when this footage is shot.
The disc shaped object passes behind the tether which makes it over 70 miles away, which also means that an object to be that far away & still be that size means that...
It's too big to be ice or space debris.

Video - 1998 - STS 088 Mission UFO's
Two UFO's seen in official NASA released files during the STS088 Mission in 1998.
NASA has dismissed the first image as space junk, possibly solar panel sections from a satellite. The second looks like it could be some kind of drone or weather monitoring device, however, I have no experience to base that assumption on.
